Judd is a filmmaker from the plains of North Texas. He makes movies about outsiders with holes in their sense of self, who are driven by obsessions that can’t fill what’s missing. His debut short, SON, won a Special Jury Prize at the Oak Cliff Film Festival. A 2017 IFP Narrative Lab Fellow, he produced and co-edited Jules of Light and Dark (Outfest Best Narrative Feature, 2019). His recent work includes Destroyer, a strange cosmic thriller he co-wrote and directed, which has screened at acclaimed festivals such as the Overlook Film Festival and New/Next Film Festival. He is currently developing his first feature.
